Authorities say a Texas school bus carrying more than 40 students rolled over after veering off a rural road on the first day of class, injuring multiple students.

After the first day of the academic year, the Leander Independent School District bus veered off a curve for unknown reasons.

The injured were transported to local hospitals via ambulance and helicopter. The cause of the crash remains unknown, and the incident is under investigation.
