A Canadian manufacturer is recalling hundreds of cases of sugar cookies sold at Target due to potential contamination of a "foreign material," according to a Food and Drug Administration notice. The voluntary recall was initiated on July 22 and categorized as a Class II recall on Aug.

The Food and Drug Administration issued a recall for frosted sugar cookies sold at Targets across the country. The cookies were recalled due to possible wood contamination, the FDA said. 803 cases of lot 25195 were recalled across 21 states.
