Rahsul Faison practiced on Saturday - finally. The South Carolina tailback running around for the second day of the Gamecocks' preseason camp came a day after another odd sequence in what continues to be a bizarre saga.

Utah State transfer running back Rahsul Faison took part in his first August practice after the NCAA approved an emergency waiver.

Faison’s future has been up in the air since he transferred from Utah State to South Carolina in January. He signed with the Gamecocks believing he would be able to secure a waiver for a seventh year of eligibility after the NCAA passed a blanket waiver giving an extra year for those who played in junior college.
