Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey and other state leaders are taking action following a deadly mass shooting in Montgomery over the weekend that left two people dead and 12 others injured.

Alongside Big Al, Aubie, and university students, Governor Ivey kicked off the 2025 Beat Auburn Beat Hunger and the Beat Bama Food Drive.

The Alabama Shakespeare Festival has been putting on shows in Montgomery since the 80s, and they're celebrating their 40th season with a classic mystery.
