McLaren Racing and RM Sotheby’s have joined forces for an unrivaled auction at the Formula 1 season finale in Abu Dhabi on December 5 that pays tribute to the team’s history as winner of the sport’s Triple Crown.

Champions McLaren claimed a first on Thursday by announcing the auction of one of their 2026 Formula One cars before it has even been raced.

Not only will McLaren auction off the 2026 Formula 1 car, according to the reports, but the lot will also include the 2026 Arrow McLaren Indycar, which will be raced at the Indianapolis 500 next May, and McLaren's 2027 World Endurance Hypercar that will compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

In a motorsport first, McLaren will auction its yet-to-be-raced 2026 Formula 1 car during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend on December 5, alongside its upcoming IndyCar entry and 2027 WEC hypercar. The winning bidder will not only get their car — but also they will get VIP paddock access,
