Gov. Kathy Hochul, who withheld an endorsement in the New York City Democratic primary, has yet to endorse the winner, Zohran Mamdani.

Ever since Zohran Mamdani won the Democratic primary for New York City mayor two months ago, Republicans have been licking their chops, and prominent Democrats have been squirming.

It’s not easy to move around New York City as Zohran Mamdani anymore. Like when the 33-year-old Democratic nominee for mayor leaves a union meeting to walk to his Manhattan campaign office, as he did one Monday morning in July.

Now that Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani has won the Democratic primary in NYC, will more traditional Democrats get on board and endorse him? FOX 5 NY's Morgan McKay reports.

NYC mayoral Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani has distanced himself from the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). The campaign has denied discussing or working with the DSA on any legislative proposals.
