A cloudburst in Jod Ghati village, Kathua district, Jammu and Kashmir, resulted in four deaths and six injuries, with rescue efforts underway by a joint team of police and SDRF; landslides also occurred in nearby villages, and the Ujh river neared the danger mark.

More than three dozen people are dead after a cloudburst triggered a flash flood in Kashmir and other nearby areas.

The death toll from heavy monsoon floods and landslides in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir continues to rise rapidly, with 307 people now confirmed dead.
