Musgrove is signed to a huge five-year, $100 million deal through the 2027 season. The former All-Star is looking to get back to his former self after a rough 2024, where he finished with a 3.88 ERA.

Musgrove plans to be available to work an inning or two out of the bullpen by the time the postseason begins. That would be slightly less than a year after his surgery on Oct. 11, 2024.

Musgrove is 8-4 with a 2.65 ERA this season, with 114 strikeouts and just 27 walks in 18 starts. In seven big league seasons with Houston, Pittsburgh and San Diego, he's 48-51 with a 3.82 ERA.
