For guests looking for less trick and more treat, Six Flags will host daytime family-friendly fall events, like Kids Boo Fest. Running select dates Sept. 13–Nov. 2, youngsters can trick-or-treat, see a not-so-spooky show and enjoy Halloween theming throughout the park.

We’re in the dog days of late summer, which means thoughts are starting to creep (pun definitely intended) toward Halloween. And on that note, Six Flags Great America in north suburban Gurnee announced Tuesday that it’s debuting some new scares for this year’s Fright Fest,

The Saw, Conjuring and Trick ‘r Treat haunted mazes will return to the Valencia amusement park during the Fright Fest 2025 seasonal event running on select nights from Sept. 19 through Nov. 2. Fright Fest tickets will go on sale Tuesday, Aug. 12.

From Sept. 12 through Nov. 2, the park will be packed with thrills for horror fans, and daytime spooky fun for the kids, too.
