The Padres were down by four runs in the first inning, but managed to claw their way back and tie the game in the eighth before the Dodgers again took the lead again and held onto it en route to a 5-4 victory Sunday afternoon at Dodger Stadium.

Betts, after the San Diego Padres had rallied back from a four-run hole and tied the game up, drilled a deep solo home run over the left field wall at Dodger Stadium. That put the Dodgers up 5-4 and eventually led them to the one-run win.

Mookie Betts hits a home run in the bottom of the eighth to lift the Dodgers past the Padres and into a two-game lead in the NL West.
