A number of official federal government agency websites are displaying prominent banners that blame the ongoing shutdown on Democrats or the “radical left.” Now, some California department websites are pointing fingers at President Donald Trump.

The shutdown messaging war is in full effect, and early indications are that Republicans have been put in something of a bind, given the Democrats’ demand to extend enhanced Obamacare subsidies appears quite popular.
