Jerry Jones was treated for Stage 4 melanoma at MD Anderson, the Cowboys owner told the Dallas Morning News. Jones, 82, said he was diagnosed with cancer in June 2010. He credits PD-1 therapy for saving his life, the Morning News said. The Cowboys owner and general manager also said he is currently tumor-free.

"I was saved by a fabulous treatment and great doctors and a real miracle [drug] called PD-1 [Programmed Cell Death Protein 1 therapy]," Jones told reporters. "I went into trials for that PD-1, and it has been one of the great medicines.
