A sudden cloudburst in Uttarkashi’s Harsil region triggered flash floods and landslides, resulting in four deaths, 11 Indian Army personnel missing, and over 130 people rescued amidst ongoing relief efforts.

Rescue operations in Uttarkashi have been severely hampered by continuous rain. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy rain today in several districts of the state.

At least four people have died after a flash flood wiped out an entire town and left several victims trapped, and around 100 are missing.
