Helldivers 2 looks set for an unlikely Halo crossover after a new trailer teased the arrival of the ODST. Arrowhead's hugely successful PC and PlayStation 5 third-person shooter launches on Xbox Series X and S on August 26 as the first Sony-published game on Microsoft’s console.

Helldivers 2 is coming to Xbox, per a new trailer that was just posted to Arrowhead's channel. The video in question, which uses P.O.D's "Boom", is pretty cute in itself—the fact that Arrowhead has waited a whole year and a half before using this particular bop in their promotional material, I feel, shows remarkable restraint.

To celebrate Helldivers 2 becoming the first Sony-published game to hit Xbox consoles, the game looks set for a crossover with perhaps Xbox's greatest series.
