A Regional Transportation District train and a tractor-trailer collided in Aurora on Monday, temporarily shutting down RTD’s commuter rail A Line, officials said.

The A Line train resumed service Monday afternoon after a morning crash near Central Park involving a semitruck closed the line.

An RTD commuter rail line collided with a train in northwestern Aurora on Monday morning. The train was part of A Line service from Denver International Airport to Union Station in downtown Denver. The incident happened at the Sable Boulevard crossing, close to the intersection of Smith Road and Sable Boulevard.
