Officials in Illinois found a Northwestern University professor who was reported missing after leaving home to go on a walk, police said.

Evanston police say Northwestern professor Nina Kraus was last seen Monday morning leaving her home for a walk.

"Professor Nina Kraus has been located in Evanston. She has been transported to a local hospital for treatment," said the Evanston Police Department
