Trevor Larnach had a two-run in a four-run first inning and the Minnesota Twins beat the Cleveland Guardians 5-4 on Sunday to avoid a three-game sweep.

Bo Naylor came through with the go-ahead double in the eighth and Hunter Gaddis earned his first career save, and the Guardians beat the Twins.

Guardians update (54-54): They’ve won 14 of their last 20 games. Carlos Santana .400 (6 for 15) with two homers and two RBI and Jose Ramirez .320 (8 for 25) have hit the Twins well this year. Williams, who opens the series against the Twins, is 1-1 against them this year.
