Jake Fischer revealed new intel on the Golden State Warriors' interest in Josh Giddey in the midst of their holding pattern with Jonathan Kuminga.

Jonathan Kuminga’s contract impasse with the Warriors technically started in late June, when the forward entered free agency after Golden State tendered him a $7.9 million, one-year qualifying offer.

Per the San Francisco Standard's Tim Kawakami, the Golden State Warriors don't plan to trade Kuminga this summer and he'll be on the team's roster to star the season. Kawakami noted that Kuminga's pathways back to the Warriors are to accept the team's offer or to take the $7.9 million qualifying offer that Golden State extended to him.
