The Houston Astros beat the Yankees 7-1 Sunday after New York manager Aaron Boone was ejected in the third inning.

Things are getting tense in the Bronx. The New York Yankees came into Sunday's affair against Houston with a 62-55 record and third place in the American League East. The Yankees and Houston Astros were playing the rubber game of a three-game series, but overall, New York lost six out of their last ten games.

New York also holds a mere 0.5-game lead over the Cleveland Guardians for the final AL wild card spot. The Guardians could overtake the Yankees if they aren't able to string some wins together soon, as Cleveland owns an impressive 8-2 record over its past 10 games.
