We’ve had a week of South Florida heat advisories. When will it end?
South Florida has been under a heat advisory for a weeklong stretch, according to the National Weather Service in Miami. The heat index — humidity mixed with the air temperature — has been 105 or higher for several hours each of the days, triggering the alerts.

Weather Service issues heat advisory for South Florida; index temp may hit 107 in WPB
While the actual temperature will reach 93 today, the “feels-like” heat index temperature is predicted to reach 107 in West Palm Beach, and 109 in Immokalee. The advisory is in effect for all of South Florida except for coastal Collier County and mainland Monroe County.
