A bus carrying a junior high football team to a game crashed Saturday in Economy, Beaver County, and sent 22 of the 28 people on board to hospitals.

Sources close to the investigation of a school bus crash in Economy Borough​ told KDKA-TV that two people remain hospitalized.

A school bus carrying Aliquippa Junior High football players crashed, injuring several and sending 21 to hospitals; an investigation is ongoing and community support has been mobilized.

The Aliquippa Jr. High School Football Team was involved in a bus crash on Saturday morning. A parent confirmed to KDKA-TV's Jessica Riley that the team was on the bus at the time of the crash. According to the team's Facebook page,
