A brand-new one-off documentary about Ozzy Osbourne will show his fans "the final chapter" of his life, including his journey to performing at Black Sabbath's farewell show in Birmingham in July.

Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home, a 60-minute standalone programme filmed from 2022 to 2025, will air on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer streaming service at 9pm UK time on August 18.

Following Osbourne’s death, Deadline revealed two weeks back that the BBC was l ocked in conversations over the future of the documentary series about the Osbourne family, which was originally conceived in 2022 as Home to Roost, a spiritual successor to MTV’s anarchic mid-noughties series The Osbournes.
