The National Hurricane Center on Wednesday continued to keep track of Tropical Storm Dexter as well as two developing Atlantic systems that could become the season’s next tropical depression

The National Hurricane Center is tracking three Atlantic systems: Tropical Storm Dexter, a Florida offshore disturbance, and a central Atlantic wave.

Tropical Storm Dexter formed in the Atlantic late Sunday night, and two other storm systems are being closely monitored in the Atlantic.

Tropical Storm Dexter is going to stay out over the water and, as such, will not pose a major threat to land, said Dave Dombek, a senior meteorologist with AccuWeather. The system developed from a low pressure area along a stalled front off the southern Atlantic coast.
